> Oakmount Control Systems Limited is a family-run automation and engineering business based in Plymouth, Devon, with a second site in Yeovil. Founded in August 2002 by Phil Partridge as a sole trader, the company became a limited company in August 2003 and has grown to occupy 38,000 sq ft across 1.7 acres in Plymouth. The company designs and manufactures bespoke special purpose machines and automation solutions, offering complete turnkey capability from initial concept design through to installation, commissioning and after-sales support. Oakmount employs experienced Automation, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and has an in-house Fabrication and Precision Toolmaking department. Machines have been installed across the UK and internationally, including in the USA, Europe, China and Puerto Rico. Oakmount is a Bosch Rexroth Certified Excellence Partner, a Siemens Solution Partner, and a Kassow Robots Solution Partner.

All panels are supplied with CAD schematic drawings and documentation and are fully tested before leaving the facility. Application software is written to customer specification; by default, the client holds copyright ownership. SCADA experience includes automated assembly lines, process control, and management information data collection across the mineral processing, pharmaceutical, and food industries. PC software tools used include OPC/SQL packages, Visual Basic and National Instruments LabVIEW.
